One word of advice: use a big water pitcher for the first use of the slot machine after the filter change - the pressure has to readjust and it will spit out a few huge blasts of water that will confound your normal water glass. After the couple of big blasts though, you get constant good pressure, think twice than you remembered was even possible after the gradual slow down with your old filter.

It said it on the box. Amazon was excellent with refunding my dough. But I still needed a new filter( I thought). So off I went to the Maytag store. The manager of the store sold me the 12 month gauze and informed me that this is the only one he sells and that the filter is marked replace 12 months and not to be fooled because the packaging is very almost identical.
