Designed for electric or gas cooktops up to 22K BTU, the Fascinate operates at 1.5 sones on normal speed and 5 sones on high speed (110 CFM at conventional, 220 CFM at high setting), making it as quiet as it is efficient. It's up to 50 percent quieter than almost identical models. For easy cleaning, the Allure has a fully enclosed design and standard solid filters made of dishwasher-safe mesh. The Teflon, non-stick bottom cover makes for alert, easy cleanup.
Rocker Switches for Two Light and Speed Options
The Allure offers the ease of use of a two light settings--focused, bright light for cooking and soft nighttime disembark--with halogen lamps (bulbs not included). Two contoured rocker switch controls act as if for easy speed and light selection.
Versatile Design
HVI 2100 certified, the Temptation provides reliable performance and versatility. It can be used for ducted or ductless operations and allows for four-way convertibility: 3-1/4-inch by 10-inch (flat or vertical), 7-inch round, or non-ducted discharges. The hood can be converted to put up any of these setups without repositioning the blower. Adjustable duct connectors make the range hood in accord with off-center ductwork.

At 1.5 Sones it is practically a whisper with the fan on. Let me tell you it's a blessing and worth the money for that deed data alone.My wife (who does most the cooking, love you) would never turn on our old range hood. I would come into the house to find a haze of smoke and oil hanging in the air and her working in the kitchen. I would turn on our old hood, 5.5 sones and you could not yell at each other to have a discourse.What I needed was replacement that was quiet (so the wife would use it) gave some light and would fit in the standard opening that was under $150. Genial range hood
This range hood definately has a another look to it, one that has my husband confused as to whether he likes or dislikes it. I love it. The hood brings the gleam up a bit higher than traditional hoods. It has two fan settings and a low/high light settings, along with two lights. We used halogen overflowing lights and on the high setting it really lights up the entire range and surrounding counter duration. Unlike traditional hoods, it has a clean and finished look underneath.
Agreeable Product
I purchased this artifact because I wanted to match my stainless steel appliances. I notice this hood was larger than my 1980's era hood that I inherited from the above-named owner of my home. So, it was time for an update. The installation was not too hard for a DIY type person, such as myself. I purchased the hood in a check home improvement store and didn't look for the reviews on Amazon like I normally do to see how others perspective the quality of a product. I was shocked to learn that Amazon sells the hood that I purchased for $100 less than I purchased it at the amass. Wow! That is a big difference. If my cheapness weren't out-weighed by my laziness, I'd take the hood back for a refund and purchase it again on Amazon. Oh well, guide learned.
