I bought this fastidious microwave mainly because it came in the bisque color to match the rest of my kitchen appliances. It is very finicky to find bisque. I personally use the microwave for reheating; I do not use it for cooking. What I don't like about this machine is way the "Reheat" is configured in that you have to determine an option: "dinner plate" or "soup" or "sauce." What if I just have a cup of coffee? I would pick to choose a length of time and hit "Reheat" so that I don't have to physically stand by the microwave and monitor the progress of the reheat and end it when I deem enough time has passed. You can choose to cook something at a lower power and that could possibly "reheat" the prog, but it is a series of programming - choosing a cook time and a cook power, etc. - not a uncluttered - "Reheat - 30 seconds." I don't like having to consult the handbook every time I want to heat something up. Otherwise it works fine.

I wanted to proceedings the Whirpool Bisque Microwave that was a step up from this one, but it was out of stock everywhere, so I ordered this one. (A local salesman told me that this redden was going to be hard to find because everyone wants black, white or stainless steel!) Eeyuk! The microwave doesn't have a nosegay of fancy stuff on it, but it's fast and cooks pretty evenly. It looks really flawless in my old farmhouse kitchen too. I didn't give it 5 stars because it is all plastic, so tends to move when I push the buttons. The unobstruct/close button tends to stick-but pops out shortly. The microwave is a little noisy, but so far, I like it, and I'm blithe I got it. Wow, it really shipped fast and no shipping costs too-woo hoo!
