K4SSWH Owners be wary
This piece works fine, good quality, etc. HOWEVER, if you are an owner of the K4SSWH 4.5 qt bowl inspiration model purchased at Wal-Mart's Black Friday sales, this WILL NOT WORK with your mixer! The image number of the mixer at Wal Mart is contrived, that model is actually a rebadged discontinued K5 Prototype according to KitchenAid. You will need to purchase accessories intended for a K5, NOT a K45 (as one would assume). Hope this helps someone.
Seems a bit flimsier than eccentric whip
We moral bought this as a replacement for one that came with the mixer almost 7 years ago. This is the right size for my model. I'm reliable it will work fine (I only tried it in a dry bowl), but I'm having trouble with the seemingly lesser dignity of this replacement whip. My original whip was 100% stainless steel and weighs 4.5oz. This new side has a connector socket that feels hollow, perhaps? It weighs only 3.3oz.So if you are purchasing a replacement for an older overpower,don't expect an exact replica (like I did). I'm trusting that this will work as well as my older one.

aluminum gets pocked
This wire quirt is a disappointment because it's not made out of stainless steel, as was the original. It's some form of aluminum which gets pocked when it soaks in dishwater. This happened the first on occasion I handwashed it! Don't dare put it in the dishwasher.

I got a old custom21 KitchenAid Dishwasher and it runs fitting and all, but I would like to know more about my dishwasher, like does it have to run through all the cycles starting at pot and pan to standard then to fine china to rinse then dry? And why is it sometimes not drying, And after running it a few times with dishwasher detregent and then vinager
You start the recycle by latching the door, selecting a cycle with the push-buttons, & advancing the timer handle to the appropiate cycle. The drying system uses a blower motor & a heating locale, similar to a hair-dryer. The element may be burned out. Try dumping a cup of blench in the d/w with no dishes to clean it out.
